Martini in The Morning is doing there 3rd annual Countdown of the Most Romantic Songs of All Time this Valentine's Weekend. It's time again to pick your favorite MITM Love Songs in the Top 50 Greatest Long Songs Ever Written poll.
NORTH HOLLYWOOD, CA, February 13, 2010 /Music PR News/ -- Martini in The Morning is doing their 3rd annual Countdown of the 50 Most Romantic Songs of All Time this Valentine's Weekend. The Internet radio station MartiniintheMorning.com is inviting listeners to vote for their favorite love songs, and then will be unveiling the voting in a countdown this Valentine's Weekend on Saturday, February 13th and on Sunday February 14th at Noon Pacific (3pm Eastern)
In addition to deciding the songs when listeners vote, they will be entered in a drawing for a limited edition 2-CD collection of 26 different recordings - 26 different interpretations - of the song some say is the greatest love song of all time, "I'm In The Mood for Love." This CD is NOT for sale anywhere.
The results for the 50 love songs for 2010 will be posted on the MartiniInTheMorning.com website along with the results from the 2009 poll. Artists included in the 2009 MartiniInTheMorning.com countdown range from Eric Clapton and B.B. King to Beyonce (At Last), Harry Nilsson (Nevertheless and It Had to Be You), to more predictable "Standards" performances from Ella Fitzgerald, Tony Bennett, Louis Armstrong, Sinatra and Nat King Cole.
