WALLAROO, SA, AUSTRALIA, March 7, 2010 /Stanford Who's Who/ -- Principal Graeme Clarke has been accepted among the ranks of prominent professionals with Stanford Who's Who as a result of his sensational career in a variety of professional avenues. He is a singer, songwriter, author and adventurer in the most literal sense of the word. Graeme is the complete embodiment of a jack of all trades who has managed to master them all while developing and expressing a passion for life itself rarely ever seen.
Graeme was born in New Zealand on April 26, 1943. He grew up on a small dairy farm where he learned an invaluable amount about the land, hence gaining a tremendous respect and love for the life that surrounds him. This eventually led him to do an extraordinary amount of charity work for the less fortunate in this world which he continues to this day through his fundraising activities. He is also quite the botanist as he keeps an enormous and extremely beautiful garden on his property which is also the home to an interesting collection of friendly reptilian creatures.
In 1963, Graeme qualified as an electrician and went on to diligently work his way through the ranks in the electrical and construction industries. In both New Zealand and Australia, Clarke carved his path to the top, becoming a project and construction manager.
Graeme decided to take a break away from the constant pressures of the construction industry in 1985 and began to tour Australia as an entertainer. Clarke is the composer of numerous songs as well as a producer and artist on three CD albums. The CD's are titled Graeme Clarke Sings Your Favorites, Footprints In The Sand at Wallaroo, and One For The Road.
Principal Graeme Clarke has also authored a fantastic trilogy of true-life adventure books. The first is entitled Trail of the Tender Trap which follows the real-life adventures and escapades of an itinerant entertainer while touring Australia. Where Birds of Paradise Fly came next which chronicles Graeme's travels through Singapore, Malaysia and India as General Manager of a redevelopment project. The third installment was titled Tempest and Torment and told of when Graeme along with his wife Pat lived and worked throughout the South Pacific islands of Tonga and Samoa from 1999 to 2003.
As a Guest Speaker, Graeme shares the diversified and colorful life he has experienced with the audience, all the while keeping them laughing and shaking their heads in disbelief. He has three separate presentations in his arsenal, based on the subject matter of each of the books in his trilogy. Each program is approximately an hour long and contains a couple of songs from Graeme's CD's which he performs live.
